The Cosmometer Daytona 18K gold model with a Cerachrom bezel is paired with an Oysterflex strap. This innovative strap, developed and patented by Rolex, combines the strength and reliability of a metal strap with the comfort of a rubber strap.
The inner strap is made of two curved elastic metal pieces, one on each side, while the outer layer is coated with high-performance black rubber injection-molded. To ensure greater comfort, the inside of the Oysterflex strap is equipped with a cushioning pad, and the Oysterflex safety clasp prevents accidental opening of the strap. The strap length can be adjusted using the Rolex Glidelock extension system.
To preserve the beauty of pink gold watches, Rolex created 18K Everose gold at its foundry and patented this pink alloy.
Since its debut in 2005, 18K Everose gold has been used to make pink gold Rolex Oyster watches.
The watch’s diamond-set bright black and luminous gold dials feature spray-coated chronograph subdials, 18K gold hour markers, and hands coated with clear, easy-to-read Chromalight luminous material.
